½ lb. of bacon
½ lb. of sausage (Eckrich or Hillshire Farm type)
4-5 tablespoons of Gourmet Firehouse Salsa: Mango Habanero or Pineapple Habanero
2-3 oz. of goat cheese, cream cheese, or smoked Gouda
1.Cut the bacon strips in half.
2.Cut the sausage ¾ inch thick.
3.Roll the sausage with the bacon using the outside portion of the sausage.
4.Leave some bacon overlap toward the top of the roll to use as a cup to hold the cheese and salsa.
5.Slide a toothpick through the bacon and sausage to hold it together.
6.Drop a small amount of cheese on top followed by a dollop of salsa.
7.Spray or grease a baking dish or pan and place it into a preheated oven of 400 degrees. Cook for about 15-20 minutes or until the bacon is completely cooked.
8.Let them cool for a few minutes before biting into a wrapped bite!
